Croydon Fun Palace is all about getting people involved in making a weekend of experiences and happenings over 4–5 October. To make this as engaging as possible, we’d love for a range of people to take part – everyone is welcome, and encouraged, to contribute; the Palace can make a space for all sorts of things.
If you’d like to talk to other Fun Palace Makers about how you might get involved, come along to one of our drop-in sessions, to be held in the café space at Matthews Yard at the following times:
6.30pm – 7.30pm, Saturday 28 June
7.30pm – 9.00pm, Tuesday 1 July
7.30pm – 9.00pm, Friday 4 July
7.30pm – 8.30pm, Sunday 6 July
Whoever you are, whatever you can do, you can play a part in building Croydon Fun Palace. The only qualification is a willingness to take part! After that, it’s just a matter of working out how you could fit in to the weekend…
Perhaps you’re a citizen journalist or blogger. Maybe you can sew up a storm or build a robot from scratch. Or are you great at meeting new people and making them feel welcome? Any of these skills and qualities, and many, many more, can contribute to Croydon Fun Palace.
Let us know what you could do on the Get involved page or come along to one of the drop-ins to be inspired by other Fun Palace Makers!
